Letting Go by Jennifer Foor

Savanna Tate has loved the same guy since she was 14yrs old. Now she and Tyler are in their second year of college. While Savanna is concentrating on maintaining her high grade point average and academic scholarship, Tyler is busy partying with his frat brothers and screwing around on his girlfriend behind her back.

Savanna decides they need a break, just so she can focus and maybe change his mind about his priorities. One night at a party Savanna catches Ty in the act and after a heated argument, she leaves. In fear of losing her forever, Tyler steals a car and proceeds to follow her even after he had too much to drink. He loses control of the vehicle and from the injuries of the accident he goes into a coma.

Everyone blames Savanna for Ty's accident. She loses her friends. His family disowns her. She stops being around people and spends most of her time at the hospital waiting for Ty to wake up so that they can start over and have the future she always wanted.

Then his cousin Colt comes back to town to help with the Mitchell family's farm.

The chemistry between them is electric, but is Savanna willing to let go of Ty to explore her feelings for Colt?

I just read it and I loved it, couldn't put it down. Colt was to die for, he was perfect except for this part where he was kind of selfish but considering his personal issues at the time I forgive him. Savanna was sort of a wimp, I mostly like more kickass heroines (Kate Daniels, MacKayla Lane etc.) but not as annoying as Kiera in the Thoughtless books (I loved that series but was really hard to root for the heroine, I wanted to smack her several times). And Ty, well he was the stereotypical cheating ass here but I'm currently reading book 2 which is his story, I will let you know if I feel he redeems himself.

Minor issues:
The book has quite a lot of spelling and grammar issues, I wonder what happened to spellcheck? Also, the story was written in the alternating between the 3 main characters' POVs but I think the author got confused at some point and say while narrating from Savanna's POV there was this sentence that sounded like Colt's POV? Anyway, very minor issues I can easily get over, I still love this book. :)

Fitflop Pietra in Pewter

This is absolutely my HG in comfort footwear nowadays, I don't have enough words to say how much i love, love it! Bought mine at a sale in ResToeRun at 40 percent off and have worn it almost everyday, at this rate I'd need a new one pretty soon. It's one of the older models but for me it's the best design I've seen so far. I adore the jewel accents, it's comfy but dressy! Very versatile and did i mention comfy? Lol.

Another plus factor is the "exercise while walking" factor, I haven't really noticed if I shed a few pounds yet but keeping my fingers crossed!

From Fitflop site:

The first FitFlop sandal was sold in 2007, after Dr. David Cook and Darren James (biomechanists at London South Bank University LSBU) collaborated with Marcia Kilgore (an entrepreneur and multi-tasking mum) to create the world ’s first muscle-activating flip flop. Built with simple sport y looking upper straps and an ergonomically engineered Microwobbleboard midsole, the concept was a phenomenal – and global – success. So when fans began to send feedback detailing how ‘fantastic’ FitFlop™ sandals made them feel (subsequent research at Salford University uncovered our Microwobbleboard technology had remarkable underfoot-pressure diffusing and shock attenuating properties), Kilgore decided to take this technology and weave it into a full, multi-occasion footwear collection. Now boasting two patent-pending technologies: Microwobbleboard and Biomimetix midsoles, FitFlop’s goal is to create fun, energizing, beautiful shoes that – when you wear them – make you feel like you’ve got the world at your feet.
